MUVE e telelavoro: il progetto di Nocturna Miles
Di Nocturna_Miles, Aprile 18th, 2008Una delle più forti esigenze nella mia vita è la possibilità di organizzare il tempo in base ai miei bisogni: da ciò dipende la pace interiore, la soddisfazione e come conseguenza, la salute.
Questo concetto è stato nominato work-life balance: l’equilibrio tra lavoro e vita, ovvero IO, la famiglia, la casa, gli hobby e tutto ciò che rientra nella sfera personale.
A partire da questa necessità si è sviluppata in me l’idea che il modo ottimale di far coincidere vita e lavoro sia il telelavoro. In particolare il telelavoro per mezzo di ambienti multi-utente virtuali (MUVE), come ad esempio Second Life.
In questi ambienti non solo si è connessi con gli altri, ma lo si è contemporaneamente, quasi fisicamente, e con la possibilità di lavorare con contenuti multimediali.
Ho visto nella pratica il telelavoro in Svezia e ho pensato che lavorare al mio portatile, sul tavolo di casa mia, con davanti una tazza di caffè fumante sia molto meglio che perdere ore nel traffico, mangiare fuori, ed essere costretta ad abitare vicino alla rumorosa città. Molto più salutare, principalmente perchè eviterei di stressarmi.
Tutto il pianeta ne gioverebbe: non si tratta di salvare il mondo, certo, però tutti ne trarremmo un beneficio. In Inghilterra introducendo il telelavoro sono state ridotte le emissioni nell’ambiente del traffico del 25%. Vi pare poco?
Al di là degli obiettivi su larga scala, i benefici sarebbero davvero numerosi sia per le aziende, che per ogni tipo di lavoratore. La maggior parte di questi obiettivi si traducono in risparmio economico per le aziende, e migliore qualità della vita per i lavoratori.
